NCMAC is proud to share the findings from Fayetteville State University's recently completed research on transitioning military members. FSU organized the Survey of Transitioning Service Members to find what factors service members take into consideration when choosing their state residency after their military service is complete.

Soldiers from the 37th Brigade Engineer Battalion participated in a squad live fire exercise. These combat engineers continue to train throughout their careers to be prepared for any future missions.
After transitioning from the Army, combat engineers can enter fields like construction and landscaping. When military members begin their civilian careers in North Carolina, they contribute to the overall state economy and can provide key services to North Carolinians.
We are 24 hours out from the inaugural North Carolina Defense Summit!
We look forward to seeing many North Carolinians in Raleigh to discuss and learn more about the defense sector in our state. If you aren't able to make it, we'll be posting highlights after the event.
The last Sunday in September is recognized as Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day.
Throughout the year, we have holidays that remember those who currently serve and those who gave their lives serving in the military. Today we take the time to remember the mothers and families who have lost loved ones during their military service.
