Since 2017, March 29 has been designated as the National Vietnam War Veterans Day. This day was selected because March 29, 1973, was when the last U.S. combat troops left Vietnam.
Approximately 7 million U.S. Vietnam veterans remain living in the U.S. and abroad. We extend our gratitude to all veterans who served in the Vietnam War.
In honor of Vietnam Veterans, The Moving Wall will be in Kernesville, North Carolina from April 27-May 1, 2023. The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
