Nearly Half of Separating Service Members to Stay in North Carolina

Joshua Levy, a senior policy analyst at the N.C. Department of Commerce, presented data to back what NCMAC already knows – North Carolina's workforce can be boosted by the thousands of military veterans transitioning to the civilian sector annually. According to the Military Economic Impact report released last fall, 40% of separating service members indicated an interest in making North Carolina their home state.​
