Army Research Office in Durham

Since 1951, the Army Research Office in Durham has conducted cutting-edge research that has led to advances in Army technology. It also provides support and opportunities for research completed at universities and colleges across the state. ​

The Southeastern North Carolina Regional Microanalytical and Imaging Consortium, located at Fayetteville State University, is an example of an Army Research Office-funded facility. The primary research done at this facility is based on North Carolina's infrastructure.​
