At the 2022 North Carolina Defense Summit, Dr. Kevin L. Griess, Deputy Garrison Commander – Fort Bragg, presented best practices for partnerships in providing road repair and maintenance. Fort Bragg entered into a mutual Intergovernmental Service Agreement with NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to provide advanced road repair and maintenance for the Fort Bragg installation.
This agreement brings high value for NC DOT for sustained revenue on road projects and cost savings to Fort Bragg with costs reduced by 40% compared to in-house Fort Bragg assets.
