Fayetteville State University completed the Survey of Transitioning Service Members in 2022. Over 400 service members throughout North Carolina participated in the survey, and it revealed that 40% planned to stay in NC after separating from the military. Additionally, the most desired jobs were in the fields of logistics, maintenance and repair, and information technology.
