The Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Environmental Management Division (EMD) was recognized by the Secretary of the Navy and the Secretary of Defense for their work managing the natural resources of the area and U.S. Marine Corps training. The EMD received awards from both offices in the category of “Environmental Restoration, Installation” for 2022.
