Career-Ready Veterans Enter NC Workforce

According to the Defense Manpower Data Center, many individuals who leave the military are still in their prime working age — more than half (53%) of recent separations from active duty were age 30 or younger, and three-quarters (76%) were younger than 40. Many also possess technical skills and soft skills including discipline and punctuality, the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team, and experience working in a large, complex organization.​
