Tech. Sgt. Jesse Hendrix, 4th Operations Support Squadron aerospace physiology technician, simulates conditions a pilot may experience by spinning an airshow attendee at the Wings over Wayne Air Show and Science and Technology Expo at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Seymour Johnson AFB opened its gates to the public for a free, two-day event as a way to thank the local community for their ongoing support of the base’s mission.
Civilians were able to view demonstrations by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team. There were also opportunities to tour aircraft static displays and visit the STEM hangar which showed a variety of ways STEM is employed by the military.
