On November 27, 1962, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. addressed a crowd of 1,800 in Rocky Mount, NC. Dr. King's speech, given in the Booker T. Washington High School gymnasium, was the first documented occasion where he used his famous "I Have A Dream" refrain.
Today we honor Dr. King's legacy and the impact he made across our nation.
