Fort Liberty's Garrison Command Sergeant Major Gregory Seymour, in collaboration with Lendlease Communities and IHG Army Hotels, officially marked the beginning of construction for a new Candlewood Suites hotel. This 207-room hotel, projected to open in early 2026, will serve as the 17th Candlewood Suites property and is part of the Privatization of Army Lodging initiative. The initiative aims to enhance on-post lodging services for Service Members, their Families, and government travelers.
The partnership also plans to enhance other lodging options at Fort Liberty in the coming year, further improving the quality of life for service members and their Families.
