Commemorating 76 Years of the U.S. Air Force Reserve

Established as a distinct component in 1948, following the transfer of the Army Air Corps Reserve to the Air Force, as outlined by the U.S. Air Force Reserve Command. With approximately 70,000 Citizen Airmen presently serving, the U.S. Air Force Reserve plays a vital role in national defense. ​
North Carolina proudly hosts the 916th Air Refueling Wing, stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
