U.S. Army Reserves Marks 166 Years

Established in 1908 as the Medical Reserve, the U.S. Army Reserve has mobilized over 100 million Soldiers throughout its history, providing critical support in various conflicts including the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam, the Middle East, Afghanistan, and the Global War on Terror. ​
Approximately 10,000 Army Reserve Soldiers are stationed in North Carolina.
