From its humble beginnings to its expansion into a comprehensive training and rescue facility, Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City has been at the forefront of search and rescue operations for over 80 years.
With a fleet of versatile aircraft and highly trained personnel, the station has conducted over 20,000 missions, rescuing and assisting over 10,000 people in distress.
Today, Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City remains a vital hub for Coast Guard aviation, supporting missions ranging from search and rescue to maritime security and counter-terrorism operations.
