During Large Scale Exercise (LSE) 2023 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, U.S. Navy Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11 filled a hole on an airfield ramp.
LSE 2023 serves as a demonstration of the Navy's and Marine Corps' capabilities to deploy precise, lethal, and overwhelming force globally, encompassing six maritime component commands, seven numbered fleets, and 22 time zones. This exercise combines real-world operations with virtual scenarios to create a training environment where Sailors and Marines can simulate combat situations, transcending geographical boundaries and preparing them for real-world challenges they may encounter.
