During National Engineers Week, Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) engaged thousands of students across Eastern North Carolina with fun, hands-on STEM activities. The outreach team visited 39 local schools, presenting to over 4,700 students.
FRCE engineers volunteered to discuss the importance of STEM education and the exciting career opportunities available at the depot. Through interactive design challenges, students learned to think creatively and problem-solve like real engineers.
By sparking students' passion for STEM at a young age, FRCE is shaping its future workforce while fostering innovation in the local community.
