UNC System Launches Military Equivalency System

The University of North Carolina System has launched a Military Equivalency System that allows service members to see how their military occupations and training translate to earned college credit across the 16 UNC universities. This transparent resource streamlines the process for prospective military-affiliated students to determine course equivalencies from their Joint Services Transcript before applying for admission.

With over 21,000 military-affiliated students enrolled last fall, comprising 9% of the UNC student population, this system supports North Carolina's reputation as the most military-friendly state.
