On June 14th, we celebrate the iconic symbol of our nation's unity and freedom -the American flag. First adopted in 1777, the red, white, and blue stripes and stars represent the courage, perseverance, and hope that have defined the American spirit throughout our history. From the battlefields to the halls of democracy, Old Glory has waved proudly, reminding us of the sacrifices made to uphold our cherished values.
Flag Day reminds us of the sacrifices made to uphold the values the American flag represents - unity, freedom, and national pride.
